When I got the chance to try out these shoes for my eldest man child I jumped at it! And wow- am I ever glad that I did?!? These shoes are super stylish (something that’s becoming increasingly more important to my middle school guy!) and ultra comfy.
Mom’s Thoughts:
My guy has had lots of feet issues over the past several years. Finding shoes that he can wear comfortably has been a huge challenge for this mama ( and not easy on the pocketbook either). I was ecstatic when he slid his foot into these shoes and immediately began saying how comfy they are. They are beyond reasonably priced too (score for this mama!).
These shoes will be perfect for him to wear to church and school alike. He’s growing much too fast for my liking and has started participating in school sports. With that privilege comes a stricter dress code. He’s required to wear dress slacks and a dress shirt on game days – these will be perfect for those days. He can easily dress these down with jeans and a polo as well. Add super versatile to that list of fantastic features for the Lugz Empires!

I love that their slip resistant. My dad is getting over a knee injury and he needs something that is non stick and sturdy. These would be perfect.
I love that there waterproof and they look like they may last a long time sick of shoe that last only a few months .

My husband works outside, and he would love a pair of Lugz. He has never had a pair before. Lugz’s are hard working shoes.

My husband loves Lugz ~ he has three pairs and they are the only brand he wears (other than a 15 year old pair of LL Bean Moccasins and flip-flops. They seem to be one of the few brand he can wear comfortably right out of the box! It’s also great that many styles can be worn in all kind of weather and surface conditions AND still look sharp enough to wear in all but fancy or formal occasions. Now THAT is a real plus.
I own a similar pair of lugs and they are well made and comfortable. The only thing is they are better in the winter and fall because they definitely keep your feet warm.

The Water Resistence and Memory Foam inserts are a selling point here! Very nice and would be very handy for my husband…he’s very hard on shoes.

Water resistant & slip resistant Lugz shoes are great for this winter. The flex astride molded memory foam insole sounds like they would be great on your feet to wear. Love the colors and style of the shoe too.

These Hugz style are great for every day wear, and can be worn for a hike. Perfect for my partner, who is always hiking around the woods.
I would love these Empire shoes for my son for back to school. I like that they are water resistant and have a padded tongue for comfort.

I love the style and colors of Lugz shoes. Although I wished they had steel toed work shoes. Steel toed shoes/boots is what I’m currently in the market for. These Empire shoes are awesome!

The memory foam insole is probably really comfortable. I like that they come in some really nice colors too.

I agree with this review, not only because I’ve purchased Lugz in the past, but it’s true that their comfort & quality really do stand up over time.
Let me tell you first hand, Lugz boots are not only comfortable, they are durable also. I find myself being careful because they look so nice. Once they get a little wear, I put them to the test and they perform. Quality product that I stand by.
I learned that they were water proof. This feature would make them perfect for my son who walks to work even in the rain.

Waterproof is a must to keep the feet dry! And I love that they have memory foam!

These shoes not only look great but I love the memory foam insole and since I live in a rainy area I love that these shoes are water resistant. They look sturdy and durable and will stand up to a lot of use.
My husband also has shoe fit issues so I’m hoping the Lugz shoes will be the solution. I like that they can be dressy or casual as well – makes them very practical on two fronts… cost & comfort!
I would like a darker brown as I need something in that style. I’ve got black shoes but not brown. They are very nice. I thank you for the info about them. I keep thinking about it.

These shoes are really nice looking, I love them! I would definitely get the black for my husband, they would look great with his work clothes! 🙂 They are also seem very well made and durable.
When you think of Florida, you don’t think of these type of shoes! But…in all honesty, when out and about, sandals aren’t always the smartest choice! I love these shoes for their versatility and the fact that they are water proof!! (lots of rain here lately). The memory foam is a real bonus for my guy’s feet…as we age, we all need some help!! 🙂

Slip resistant is so needed for the winter when you don’t quite need boots but definately need sturdy shoes.
