One of a Kind Shoes to Wear All Day
I feel that the art of shoe-making is something of a lost art by now. Most shoes are mass-manufactured with only certain things finished off by hand, assembly-line style. So when I discovered one of a kind shoes by Fuschia Shoes and how incredibly beautiful they are, I was really blown away.

One of a Kind Mean Handmade
That’s right. Every individual shoe is handmade from start to finish. The leather or vegan leather is cured, cut, and shaped by hand. Everything is sewn, embroidered, and beaded by hand. And every shoe is identical, meaning no right or left foot. The soft supple leather stretches out when I wear them to mould and conform to my foot as I wear it. This makes each shoe a little bit different and artfully made.
The golden Mohagny Limited edition shoes above are so detailed, they are truly stunning. The Snowdrop shoes below remind me of a beautiful crystalline snowscape. Both I have worn dressed up, where I didn’t want to kill my feet in heels but wanted something that looked nice. I also wear these to the store with a pair of jeans and absolutely love them.
Unparallelled Comfort
When I first put these luxury ballet flats on, I was a bit worried. I sized up since I have wider feet and they felt a bit tight. As I wore them around, however, it quickly became apparent that as they warmed up they were stretching out and moulding to my feet. now, I can even tell which one I usually wear on which foot, and they are so incredibly comfy. I don’t mind going on long walks with these, so long as I know they won’t get too dirty. I truly cherish these shoes.
The padded insoles have enough give to really provide a cushion, even on lightweight flats. The faux-suede interior is soft and the edges of the shoes never rub. The rubber sole of the shoe is grippy enough to not slip on tile or linoleum, and they are soft and flexible enough to move with my foot.
Wearable Art for Any Occasion
These shoes really are pieces of art, which more than justifies the price for me. They are probably the most expensive shoes I own, but even the limited edition pairs, like these I got, and no more than $120. I have friends who spend much more on “designer” shoes that are nowhere near as unique. Plus, they are comfy and easy to wear for longer periods of time on my feet.
One of a Kind Shoes Give Back
Fuchsia shoes are made in Sangla Hill, a remote town in Pakistan with a history stretching back to the time of Alexander the Great. What is most wonderful is that Fuchsia’s sustainable footwear is all about making high-quality, environmentally responsible shoes that genuinely benefit the artisans who make them. All of the raw materials are sourced locally which also is supporting the artisan’s local economy. You can read all about the artisans, where they live and create, and all about the materials they use here.
It is nice to wear shoes that are comfortable and dressy at the same time. I find heels difficult to wear when I dress up so these would be a good solution.
