School Supplies To Make Mom’s Life Easier

Back to school time has arrived at our household. In the midst of buying the kids their school supplies, it dawned on me that Momma needs a few things too. Nothing makes me happier than a cup of coffee and time to sit filling up my planner. About a week ago, a box from Scribble Stuff and USA Gold arrived. Lo and behold it was full of amazing pens, pencils, and highlighters for me to review. The level of excitement in my household is akin to a kid going to Disneyland!

Penciling In All The Activities

Long before back to school meant anything in our house, I started picking up school supplies. Crazy work hours and life spent juggling daycare and activities made penciling in our lives on a calendar inevitable. I have always kept a calendar with my schedule in plain sight. Now with more people and frequent changes, I use pencils and then update in pen when our plans solidify. The USA Gold pencils that came are going to make planning our year a snap. There is just something about back to school and freshly sharpened pencils. I can already see myself in the car pick-up line doing crosswords and sudoku puzzles.

Entertaining The Kids So I Can Do Lunch Prep

This year we have 2 kids heading back to school. Which means the kids are going to need something to keep them entertained while I prep lunches for the week. Otherwise, they will stand there munching on Thursdays lunch while I’m swatting them away like flies. My oldest snagged one of the USA Titanium pencils to work on her cursive writing. She was excited to see they came pre-sharpened.

I am thrilled to see how well they show up when she is tracing. Both kids are ecstatic to use the gel pens because they come in regular and fluorescent colors and some are even scented. These will be perfect for them to practice their pen control while they color, do mazes and dot to dots. Then I can have time to get their lunches prepped while they are happily entertained. Win-Win!

Managing 5 Schedules With Ease

With 2 school and 2 work schedules to coordinate, I am always looking for a way to designate each person’s activities. I prefer to color coordinate our family’s schedule. The Scribble Stuff gel pens made this uber easy. I found colors that match my washi tape and love that they don’t bleed through my planner.

I had to fight my kids for the felt tip pens. We all think the colors are fun and found a new appreciation for doodling. As a new mom, I thought I could organize our lives easily on my phone. Then I realized how amazing planners have become. If you haven’t gotten into the planner craze, I can’t encourage you enough to check out what’s out there. It took me a couple of tries, but now I’m in the groove. I can’t wait to use my Scribble Stuff pens to fill in our year.

Back To School Like A Boss

Really this mom gig is like running a business. So whether you work full time or stay at home, I’m certain we all have a juggling act going on when back to school time rolls around. The secret weapon is finding a planner that works for you and your family. Then snag some washi tape, a few books of cute mom stickers and some amazing writing utensils and you’ve got your back to school supplies taken care of. I can’t recommend these pens and pencils from Scribble Stuff and USA Gold enough. Now go tackle this school year like a boss!!
