Keep Your Loved Ones Close in a Custom Locket

It can be especially difficult these days to keep your loved ones close when we cannot travel to see any of them. I do not live near any of my family and I know that my parents are missing their grandchildren greatly. That is why for my mother’s birthday I customized this “Forever in My Heart” Locket just for her. This way she can keep her loved ones close and see them any time she likes.

The Value of Heirloom Jewelry:

Loved Ones Close

I feel like people don’t appreciate classic jewelry the way they used to. Most of the time it seems it just gets shoved away into a jewelry box somewhere and forgotten about. Especially lockets. Because classic lockets could easily lose their photos, then what is the point? That is why I love these lockets from Pictures on Gold. The color laser etched photos ensure that when this locket gets passed on to someone else, the photos look as good as the day it was made. I appreciate the everlasting value of this beautiful locket.

Keep Loved Ones Close with Custom Photo Options:

I love the flexibility of the options with these lockets. I picked out my favorite photos, one of my kids just after my last one was born, and one that was taken not that long ago. Then I uploaded them right to the Pictures on Gold website. I saw exactly how they would fit in the locket and adjusted them as needed. There is also the option to email the photos, get the locket, and send it back to have photos etched in later, or have the photos printed on photo paper for a very traditional locket. The laser etching is available in color or black and white so you can get the exact look you are going for.

Etching Your Words:

While the “Forever in Your Heart” locket has those very words etched on the front of the locket the back is available for inscribing whatever you’d like. I love the reminder of “Forever in Your Heart” on the front. It’s a subtle reminder of the treasures inside. I think my mom will appreciate the classic script font as well. I choose to have my kids’ first names etched onto the back. This way, generations down the road,  whoever has the locket will know who is inside.

Choosing the Best Options:

My favorite thing about jewelry from Pictures on Gold is the flexibility of all the options. To start with, I can choose from hundreds of different jewelry options. There are different metals, chains, sizes, and more. Then I get to customize the individual piece. With all the options for the photos listed above, I also can choose the font for custom laser-etched inscriptions. Some let you add birthstones and other embellishments. It can almost be a bit overwhelming, but I love being able to make my piece exactly how I need or want it.

Keeping Them Forever in Your Heart:

Loved Ones Close

If I am lucky, I get to see my family about once per year. Of course, with everything happening this past year, it has now been a couple of years since I’ve been able to see my mom in person. I don’t think gifts can ever make up for seeing someone in person and spending time with them, but hopefully, this “Forever in My Heart” locket will help my mom keep her grandkids close. You can also keep your loved ones close in your very own locket, or inspire others to do the same. 5. I love this so much. When I was a child (in Kindergarten) I was a very nervous kid. Too afraid to go by myself to school. My mother gave me a locket with a picture of herself in it to look at when I got scared. It helped me a lot. This is quite special to me.

  7. These are super special. I love you how you can customize them. Also, in an ordinary photo locket, the paper picture can become worn, or even fall out and get lost. Bot these – it’s etched right into the medal forever!

  9. This is a beautiful piece of jewelry, the chain is sturdy so it would not break. I like that it can be engaved.

If Iglori won it would go to my niece to pass on to her daughter some day

  11. I love this locket. I had one when I was younger but the pictures did not stay in so the etched part is really appealing. My daughter just had her 2nd child. Bet she would love one.
