When did you last wear High Tops?

It is so “on-trend” these days to kick it “old school”, right? While I may not stay up to date on the latest fashions and trends, I do know that I was not able to get Hi-Tops as a kid, when they first became popular. So now, I get to relive my childhood with the sweetest old school kicks around from Lugz.

Comfortable from the Get-Go

I think there is nothing worse than having to “break-on” my new shoes. Having to deal with them rubbing on my toes or heels. Dealing with the bottoms of my feet getting sore trying to get used to them. Once I slipped these Hi-Top’s on, I had no issues. I was nervous because some of the reviews said that they were not the most comfortable, but I had no issues. I wore them for walking across the street for the mail, and all day volunteering at my kids’ school. And I have no sore spots at all and my feet feel fine after extended use.

Old School Styling

I may be reliving my childhoods with these shoes, but anyone can look cool (They have this style in men’s sizes too!). You can go extra fancy and get the same look in a leather style, or go with the classic canvas look. There is even a certified non-slip version you can wear to work. We all know that style trends repeat themselves, and with the early 90s looking cool right now, even the kids will find these old school shoes fitting into their looks. 

Hi-Tops that Won’t Weigh You Down

One of my favorite things about these Stagger Hi-Top Sneakers is that as much shoe as there is here, they are very lightweight! They weigh so little that I wasn’t sure the shoes were in the box when I got them. So while they hug my feet, and I feel that, they don’t weigh me down at all.

Sized to fit

While some reviews say they run large, others say they run small. Most reviews say they fit true-to-size. I found this to be the case. I got my usual size and they fit just fine. Because they are Hi-Tops they provide great ankle support! This is great for my loose joints. I did read a couple of reviews from people with wide feet saying that these sneakers fit great! Even if you try them and find the fit is wrong, Lugz always offers a 30-day money back guarantee so long as they are not worn (so try them on, just don’t wear them out.)

Wear Them for Years

While I have only had my pair of Stagger Hi-Top sneakers for a couple of weeks, they are holding up incredibly well. Lugz is known for their tip-top quality, and these shoes are no exception. With a thick rubber sole and these warm canvas uppers everything indicates that I can wear these a good long while and have them hold up no problem. Described as “durable” with Lugz quality backing it up,  you can’t get much better for a quality shoe that will last for years to come.

I loved seeing people’s photos in the reviews of these shoes. People love wearing Hi-Tops with jeans and wedding dresses. So even if I need to dress up, these look great with a tea-length dress or shorter! Anything much longer and they hide under my skirt and I stay comfy while looking great.
