Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is a fun for all ages interactive area of Disneyland (and Hollywood Studios). The new land is full of surprises for all Star Wars fans to enjoy, but some of the high profile Galaxy’s Edge topics tend to favor adults. Not to fear, though. Because Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is just as fun, if not better, for kids. These 5 top experiences are can’t miss opportunities for Galaxy’s Edge kids to enjoy.
Need a droid?
Dress the Part
The land is so immersive and interactive that kids have got to wear their Star Wars Garb if they’ve got it. It’s the ultimate make-believe. If they don’t have Jedi Robes or other Star Wars apparel, they can find it at Black Spire Outfitters. Galaxy’s Edge kids can wield the force perform the Jedi Mind Trick on nosy Stormtroopers as they live their real life Star Wars Adventure.
An Oga’s Cantina Mocktail
Black Spire Outpost is full of specialty drinks. Many of which are non-alcoholic. Galaxy’s Edge kids can try blue or green milk, or have a refreshing concoction at Ronto Roasters. There are even alien looking Coca-Cola and Dasani bottles to blow their minds. However, the best drinks for Galaxy’s Edge kids are the ones served up in Oga’s Cantina. Their imaginations will run wild at the assortment of creatures inside and the Hyperdrive engine that powers the building. Plus the mixes are really good.

Build a Droid
Every Galaxy’s Edge kid should have a droid sidekick. in the Droid Depot they can pick up scraps and put their own droid together, then install a personality chip. The remote control droids can have allegiances, too and they interact with their Galaxy’s Edge surroundings and other droids. Taking your droid around Galaxy’s Edge is part of the ultimate Star Wars experience.
Toydarian Toymaker
Everything in Galaxy’s Edge is meant to feel authentic, as though it is a real place on a distant planet. So, the merchandise on Galaxy’s edge is not Disneyland branded products or anything you see outside in the rest of the park. The toys are not your typical Star Wars toys. Instead, they are in world games and dolls that make sense within the internal logic of the story. The Toy Maker is a Toydarian who often listens in on what children want so she knows what to make. You might see her through the door to her workshop, floating around.
Next to the Toy shop is the Creature Stall, where you can adopt a cuddly pet with unique and surprising effects.

Launch Bay
You can still experience even more Star Wars at the Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland. There are even character encounters with Darth Vader and Chewbacca for Disney Visa cardholders, as a special perk.
At this time, there are no advertised characters walking around Black Spire Outpost. However, they have been spotted. Whether or not this will become a regularly scheduled event remains to be seen, but keep on the lookout for Rey and Chewbacca!
