Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Now open, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is the latest in what Disney parks Imagineers have been developing. The 360 degrees Disney Star Wars experience is immersive and includes guest experiences like custom lightsaber building, nonalcoholic cantina drinks, unique shopping and dining, and of course a chance to fly the one and only Millennium Falcon on a smuggling mission. The interactive land lets guests pick a side using the Disney Play Parks app as a Datapad. There is so much to discover in every detail of this mysterious planet.

Aqua Tour, Epcot Future World
Tours and events are always a terrific way to enhance your Walt Disney World vacation, It’s an especially good idea when you are at Disney World with teens.. Each park has unique experiences to explore, but Epcot has some of the best behind the scenes opportunities to learn and discover more. One of the best experiences is the Aqua Tour at the Seas with Nemo and Friends. The tour gives you first-hand knowledge of what the facility does for marine life conservation. Then you get to suit up and swim in the aquarium with the likes of green sea turtles, sharks, rays and several varieties of fish. If your teen is SCUBA certified, there is a SCUBA version of the tour as well.
Coca-Cola Rooftop Beverage Bar, Disney Springs Marketplace
The bar at Coca-Cola doesn’t just serve alcohol. It’s a very family-friendly environment with many ways to enjoy Coca-Cola. Choose from a selection of international flights, get creative with the Freestyle machine, and even muddle your own flavors at this unique celebration of the world’s most recognized soft drink.
I live a mere 40 minutes from Disney World. I used to live 5 miles away and could see the fireworks from my apartment every night. There really is something for every age at Disney. I love the shopping at Disney Springs. My daughters are 4 and 6 years old, and they love the magic of Disney at the theme parks. They love all the rides that I did as a child.
These are great ideas. I love Disney! So many fun things to do!
These are fun ideas! Our daughter got a make a wish to go to Disney, but we have to wait six years to go with the foundation that’s funding it. Our kids will be teens when that happens, so I’ll have to bookmark this to remember!
