  3. Let rest 10 minutes, then remove from the pan (but still on parchment)
  4. Use a 3-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the shapes.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top and top with sprinkles.

Notes

Spray your hands with non-stick spray before pressing into molds or tray

Using silicone pots helps control waste and spillage. You can leave the chocolate inside until it's cool then peel it out and save to use again

If bagging these are treats let rest 30 minutes before placing them in a bag to avoid smudging.

You can melt chocolate instead of candy melts for these pops but it might not set has hard as the candy melts so it could crack easier. If using chocolate dark chocolate is probably best for this outer layer.

Can be stored at room temperature 3-4 days

Keep in mind that prep times can vary depending on whether this is the first time you're making these treats, if you've got the kiddos helping etc.. No matter what it's still fun and tasty to make them.

How do you cut Rice Krispie Treats neatly?

This is an easy fix, to cut them neatly, just spray your cookie cutter with a little of non-stick cookie spray. You’ll  want to repeat this step every few cuts so that the cookie cutter remains coated.

Don’t forget you can also make these treats in any shape and/or color you want. If you don’t want heart-shaped ones you can get different shaped ice cream silicone molds.
