Raspberry Bonbon a Healthier Treat

Yogurt and raspberries and you’re already off to a healthier start with this treat. If you go with dark chocolate then this treat is even more of a healthier option than a lot of sweet treats out there. Even with milk chocolate, it’s still not only a delightful treat but a healthier option than most.

Dark, White or Milk Chocolate?

You can use whatever chocolate is your favourite. I personally like dark chocolate but my daughter loves milk chocolate. Sometimes do a bit of a mix so that it’s not as sweet as milk chocolate but sweeter than dark chocolate so that we can all enjoy the same batch.

What kind of chocolate would you use for these scrumptious chocolate raspberry bonbons?

Tips for making chocolate yogurt raspberry bonbons

  • Raspberries must be washed and completely dried before you start to make the bonbons.
  • If you used a flavoured yogurt keep in mind that it will be easier if it’s a smooth mix without any “chunks or bits” of fruit or anything else.
  • You will be freezing the bonbons at two different stages make sure to have your parchment paper ready to put on the tray that will go in the freezer or if it’s easier for you have two trays ready one for each stage.
